UFC Fight Night 19 will be in Oklahoma on September 16 at the Cox Convention Center. The main event will feature Louisiana native Melvin Guillard, who now trains in Houston, TX against the other Stockton bad boy, Nate Diaz. Diaz is coming off two consecutive losses courtesy of Clay Guida and Joe Stevenson, while Guillard is coming off two wins against Dennis Siver and Gleison Tibau. September 16 will be an extremely important night for both fighters as this fight will essentially propel the winner into the lightweight contention circuit amongst the Guida's, Stevenson's, and Florian's of the heavily stacked LW division.

Melvin Guillard told MMA CITY "I just don't see Nate handling my power. I see only one outcome and that is a knock out".

Melvin will be live on ESPN Radio next Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 7pm CST, as a special guest on In the Cage with Adam Villarreal. (Vitor Belfort is tonight).

UFC Fight Night Updates:

Undercard for UFC Fight Night is under way. Ryan Jensen gets a controversial 1st round win over Steinbeiss. Jensen has guillotine choke, but Steinbeiss gives thumbs up to say he's ok.

Phillipe Nover is out of tonight's match against Sam Stout after falling ill in the locker room. Nover is fine now, but not cleared to fight. Sam Stout. Says he's getting paid show money for sure, but the UFC hasn't gotten back to him on a final number.

Pierce dominates Brock Larson for three rounds. 30-27 across the board...Pierce shuts Larson out

Stephens defeats Buchholz via first round TKO due to cuts. Great action fight while it lasted, with both guys swinging for the fences

Jay Silva makes his UFC debut next against CB Dollaway.
29-28 across the board for Dollaway. Great debut for Jay Silva though.

Sudden ending in the third as Pyle submits Wilson via guillotine choke

The judges have it 30-27, 30-27, and 29-28 for Brian Stann...
